Mahou Sensei Negima! Chapter 281 Discussion

Can't help but think this chapter was a nod to Gundam or giant robots somehow.



Yes "main cannons fire" is probably one of those things that everybody wants to say someday.

Look like Negima would end after this arc but it also have the possibility of covering a larger period of time, like let's say 'time traveling'.



Chao said a lot of important thing and it would seem that some major event would appear an hundred of year from now on and the fact that she chose to talk about this incident and not the one we are currently in (who should be the biggest incident in history with the one Nagi's group was involved with) make me beleive that it will not end after this arc because something more important have yet to happen and she came in the past to change it.



Chao obviously used a derived of magia erebea with advanced science against Negi but that she cannot use magic by herself really bother me, especially since she is the decendant of the two greatest mage ever(Because Negi WILL surpass Nagi or at least reach his level somewhere in the story).

It lead me to beleive that the world in the future will be a world without magic and that Chao plan was to spread magic in the past so that it do not get forgotten/erased so easely from history.



There's major key missing but basically I beleive that Negima will not end after this arc and that Chao didn't did her last appearance yet, especially after saying that they will met again someday.

She also mentionned a time unit who are regulating time travel so that people do not talk about the future in the past, people manipulating time would make a fine opponent for our all powered Negi who goes at ligthning speed.



Well all that is theory.

So Yue leveled up a little, well at the same time she has access to every incantation existing with her artefact so it probabluy make it easier for her.



Look like Chao 'planed' things ahead in time, well she probably didn't planned things out to turn this way but so that Chachamaru has a power up latter on.

Tough it truly is a hard artefact to use, she can't really use it in actual battle against Fate's group otherwise she would blow herself and her allies with the ennemie.

That flying cat artifact is from pactio with Negi and he's the only one Chachamaru has ever made pactio with. Chao just made that ridiculous weapon and Negi's pactio brought it to Chachamaru's possession ^_~



Yes and I would even add that she tough she had no soul before Negi made a pactio with her, this pactio is her proof that she has one.



I didn't tough it would switch to Yue's group then Paru's group. I'm actually interested to see what will happen when Negi's group will met the actual Asuna.

Whoa, Chachamaru's artifact was just... O.O

Looks like Yue has remembered Nodoka a little which is great.



Still no sign of Negi and the others? They should meet up immediately and tell them that the Asuna with them is a fake.

I do not count a Doll Pactio as a real Pactio since it does not require a soul and it do not require both side approval to be created.



Chachamaru can't use that in normal combat, the area of effect is too big, she would get hit too or one of her friend would, like she said it hasn't a lot of pratical use.



But as a tactical nuke it will be very useful at destroying enemy base for instance. Very powerful strategic weapon for a war (which is currently happening)
