at least they may have remembered to pick up the huge plotline that is fake Asuka. After dropping it for how many chapters? I can't imagine any (other) work of fiction leaving something like that hanging.
And as expected, Fate is on par with Rakan, which is bull. Oh well, it seems Rakan completely sucks at judging people's abilities. At least they have the ready-made copout at the end, so Rakan's loss/draw doesn't seem so embarrassing for the supposed strongest.

Fate's wording was a bit odd O_O "Regardless of whether you win or lose it is impossible for you to defeat me", if he won doesn't that mean he's defeated xD? Or is it simply Fate will just reappear =/?
my take on this is that Fate's plans are far enough along that simply beating him up won't matter.

So were finally back with the group... many dialogues though all are worth it...
When are they going to realize that Asuna is just fake anyway?
Yup...the dialogues make it seem more lasting and it does fit it quite good.Ive been wondering myself when the fake Asuna's going to be revealed.I suspect very soon since most of Fate's comrades are here.But seriously, although with the power difference between Rakan and Fate, Fate somehow is going to turn out victorious....either way..

I was thinking it has something to do that he is the 3rd Fate, even though the other 2 before him were defeated, he still rises up.
You have to remember that Fate is not human he is a construct as mentioned twice before, so he might be able to be reborn or reformed as long as he fills a certain condition.

You both actually raise a very good point O_O, I was thinking more along Friendly soul's lines but Mephi has said something I hadn't considered ... hmmm this could be interesting. But I have to agree that it is about time they reveal the Asuna in their presence is a fake already =/

Asakura broadcasting the meeting was kinda unexpected, Haruna's retell of the movie was the funniest and let's some of the smartest members of the party (aka: Yue) some clues to reveal the truth about Asuna, maybe even reveal that she's a fake.
By the way, place your bets on who's gonna win: the invincible Rakan or Fate, the mysterious puppet who resurrects every 10 years or so.
PD: Loved how Nodoka put Godel on a thight spot at the beggining.

Ah, I think the girl pretending to Asuna just showed a bit of her true colours, outright rejecting Godel like she did at the beginning. Asuna isn't THAT ignorant anymore.
I suspect Negi will refuse Godel and continue on alone with the girls. You know, the usual 'there-are-two-major-powers-and-the-resistance-appears' plotline.
If Ken wants to pull a great plot device out of his ass, he'll send in a brainwashed Asuna to battle Negi, and Negi will think the real Asuna is a fake.
