Nice chapter. And it's good to see that skill again (taken from Motoko in Love Hina). It's kinda sad to see Negi fall but the only reason he beat Rakan is because he used his power against him. I doubt Negi can do the same against this guy since his move ignores defence and attacks the demon inside him >.>.

As for Asuna, if Negi's party don't realize the problem then I sure hope the governor notices and speaks it out...

One question : Fake Asuna ?

It's so long how this information...

Can someone resume me the situation please about that  ?:o

Erm? Lol? Go re-read chapter 234. Fate replaced the real Asuna with a fake one so the party doesn't know he has Asuna (the real one).

That said, ofcourse I'm also curious as to who the real enemy is. I hope he isn't going to proclaim something like "your father is the real enemy". That would just annoy me because it is a to obvious thing to say coming from the real bad guy.

Maybe it is? Maybe Nagi is taking over the world to make it a better place like that guy mentioned Negi could do?

NICE QUALITY.

For Dark Negi to be easily taken down by a Shinmeiryu exorcising ougi... Would that mean that Negi is turning into a demon himself?

Well, Akamantsu-sensei will make us wonder about the "real" enemy for another week ^_^

Yea more plot twists. I thought it would end with fate's defeat, but looks like the story is gonna go even deeper.

Negi could probably defeat tat guy if he faced him with the same tenacity as when he faced Rakan. He probably underestimated him or smth. Man, how many Chilpl Astrape does Negi store in his body?

I'm hating the fact that there are even more plot twists now, while we still haven't seen the rest of the memory regaining scene with Asuna. I hope they realize something about fake Asuna now because I want to get back to Fate and real Asuna.

I really don't think Negi supposedly "turning into a demon" has anything to do with the fact that Godel cut him- He said it himself, the Shinmeiryuu style is a style that chooses what it cuts- Since Negi was in his perpetual lightning form, physical damage had no effect on him, and so he switched to a techniwue that's based on attacking things with no form- ie; a spirit-vanquishing technique.

And also, thinking humans can actually become demons is also flawed- You're born as one or the other, Magia Erebea has nothing to do with demons whatsoever, it simply focuses your "darker" emotions, and eats away at your soul. If anything, Negi should be more cautious of the technique destroying him, rather than turning him into something else.

Also, it's a good thing Akamatsu is avoiding the generic shounen "powerlevels = invincibility against all opponents less powerful than you" trap, like Bleach and DBZ- The fact that Godel could take down Negi, who at the moment is (presumably) far, far more powerful than he, shows that at the very least, he's going the way of concepts and weaknesses, rather than straight-up powerlevels.

Well, they're gonna find out about fake Asuna soon enough, seeing how she's wounded and didn't use her magic cancel

Mmmm i dont know, Negi researched alot about Rakan's history and such .... he doesn't really know too much about Fate rather than a handful of spells that he is capable of

edit: and the video too, forgot that but its not like negi really knows fate's techniques as well as he did with the research on rakan

The plot twist maybe the bad thing but its good in a sense that it could continue on more, the week off probably gave akamatsu more of a story to continue on with
