the fights not over yet cause negi says "I hit him and then some, but it wasn't doing any real damage". What I find intresting is that rakan seemed to not be able to defend in time against the last attack.



He's pretty tough so he'll be back on his feet in comical fashion saying something like "damn that hurt. I underestimated you kid. COME!!!!!".



my predictions = negi+kota VS. rakan

                        =Ako will still love negi

Great stuff!

I doubt the fight is over already. If it is I am truly disappointed.

Hopefully after Ako thing it will go back to vs Rakan and NOT Setsuna and others.

Interesting Battle. I expect in the next chapter that Jack is going to wait until the countdown is almost done and jump back up :D Next chapter will continue the flashback then I think in possibly 3-4 chapters time we'll get back to Asuna's backstory.

No way this fight ends like this. Having Rakan go down that easily is just terrible writing though as a start-up to a fight, it's a pretty awesome one. But does it really need to be interrupted for this Ako storyline? This is like the least compelling part of the story sans maybe Yue's amnesia plot.

I'd never thought I'd say this, but I think the match ended too quickly. It would have been fine to lag it for one more chapter (and there I was nagging that Bleach is too slow)

                I really like Negi's lightning ability. quite awesome. don't like the fact that we reverted to a backstory though. hopefully it won't take too long. and no Negima next week :<

I like how this went, mainly cause it makes sense that Raken would lose some of his edge after the ability he is known for, "The Thousand Swords" was nullified. But still, Lightning Ereba combo ftw.
