Does anyone else agree with me that it seemed like that disease was some kind of cover up rather than being the truth?

Negi’s sigh seemed far too suspicious, besides she had those dreams long before they came to the magical world.

Well, you never know. Although, it looked like Fate said to save the world. Unless 救う also means "domination?" I guess saving could end meaning controlling. Besides, there's only so many intentions the bad guys can have. I would think riches is out of the question in a world of magic.



Anyway, I suppose we can expect some epic battles involving those newcomers. It"ll probably be one very long tournament. Which may end up being interrupted and finished off-stage (DBZ's Cell Games comes to mind...).

YAY, one chapter closer to seeing Negi's new powers!  Did anyone else think that memory recollection "cold" sounded awfully strange?

its only like that from Negi viewpoint that they are bad. So until we learn more, saving/destroying is still very ambiguous. Wouldn't surprise me to see the whole "bad guy" turn "good guy" played sometime down the road.
