Honya's power seems to be mind-reading, which while pretty useful, doesn't seem to have much offensive use. And Negi and Asuna need all the firepower they can get especially now that Setsuna is not with them and the megane-Onmyouji-san has returned with two more underlings.
Things are getting more and more interesting.
