It makes sense why Yohan would turn against the clan considering all he experienced, but it equally makes sense for him to just want the love for his mother. And of course, considering all those he just slaughtered, I can understand why the father made the decision of death for them. Juubei's word being to forgive him were fittingly powerful, and the double page spread where Kazuki tells him he's been forgiven was beautiful. It gave reason to the 13 strings being added before fighting Yohan too, it justified their appearance there as figures we can recognize, and it's a lot more powerful than if it was just his parents and Saizou there.
