GetBackers Chapter 244 Discussion

                        I was right about Der Kaiser being Ban's father, and from what little we've glimpsed of him, he seems appropriately terrifying.. Excellent chapter, I really liked the buildup for the Der Henker, the conversations Ginji and Kazuki had with Ban, not that Ban seemed to take them too seriously. And we got insight into Kazuki's team, they're fighting Voodooist, which makes me wonder if Kazuki's team will get passed them or if they'll be defeated. It doesn't feel like a sure thing they'll win, after Ban mentioning the possibility of him and Kazuki's team being caught in a trap, I wonder if the tournament will proceed as proper. Either way, I liked Kazuki finally telling Ban enough before Ban gives him the proper warning.



And I'm pretty interested in the Maria Noches fight, I really like Help figuring out his name, I think it's a clever way to illustrate the monstrous nature that Ginji and Kazuki were alluding to earlier about the Belt Line residents.
