GetBackers Chapter 25 Discussion

                        I guess my instincts were right about Shido making a mistake with making that earlier contact, or maybe my dormant memory just flared up, but I really like that twist. Definitely the longest con with the Jagan eye, it's all pretty clever and you can definitely piece it altogether while reading the manga, since you see Ban make the eye contact in the chapters prior, it's a nice touch.



I also like all the fights that break out. Shido's beast form is pretty memorable, Ban's is a nothing fight but lol at the brother wearing a wig, and Ginji's fight is promising just to display his Raitei powers. I also liked the scale of Hishiki's power, him knocking that land mass off. The Kurobe brothers aren't much for interesting antagonists, but at least their weapons are cool.
