GetBackers Chapter 7 Discussion

                        I'm really loving how much more nightmare fuel there is in the illusions Ban gives out in the manga version. I don't recall the anime version having the much too it, and Kabutogawa definitely deserved that kind of punishment. Both Kabutogawa and Hishiki are fine beginning series antagonists, one of them is just an easily detestable person and the other one just a tank to fight against. Neither are compelling characters, and I do think Kabutogawa being a groping pervert on top of it was pretty excessive, but it works well enough at the early stages of the series. Ban's "He must have had one hell of a bad dream, don't you think?" at the end was pretty bad-ass.
