And Masaki makes his manga debut. It's quite interesting because despite the anime only adapting up to the Hot Springs arc, Masaki was a key figure in the final anime-original arc, so I already knew about him and his role with the Volts. My memory is fuzzy on any other details and I don't know how much they would've had to deviate, but I do wonder why they couldn't have adapted Divine Design if the manga was far ahead enough that Masaki was established.
Beyond that, this chapter was less about this current arc and more about developing forward. Ginji is apparently going to die here though, according to the archive but I obviously have my doubts. Wonder if some death/resurrection thing will end up occurring or something, it'll be interesting to see. Ginji's keen sesnes are pretty interesting, and I like Akabane picking up that they weren't human. The rest of the chapter was just establishing how powerful those four are, which isn't really needed but it is nice to give them a bad-ass feat.
