GetBackers Chapter 145 Discussion

                        Pretty great chapter, Kakeru/Sariel betraying Lucifer to help them at the end seems like it'll spell his doom but I like that turn of events, and I like him saying goodbye to the other archangels using their real names. I rather enjoyed how pissed off Ban got and even lashed out at the others only to be calmed down by Ginji hugging him and asking to go along with him, promising to not get in the way, since they're the GetBackers. Then having Ban carry him because he can't walk, lol. They're one of my favourite duos.



& unless I'm forgetting something, Toshiki is the first true death loss so far in the series. Not counting backstory deaths like everyone who knew Ban before Ginji apparently, but everyone in the Infinity Fortress arc who was suppose to die ended up living on as an ally. Which isn't inherently wrong or anything, but Divine Design now feels like it has a little more gravitas to it with Toshiki dying.
