Hikaru no Go Chapter 12 Discussion

hikaru's development through sai teaching is the great thing with this arc for now.

                        Since Tetsuo actually lied, Hikaru was disqualified as usual, resulting in the team's loss all the while making it justifiable that he used Sai's help in the game at all (after all they technically didn't "win")



The eyes or rather Akira's face has taken on a noticeably more Death Note ish appearance.



I wonder if Akira will transfer schools so that he can be near Hikaru (I assume Hikaru won't get into a prestigious middle school with his low marks)?

Although I'm certain that they'll have to graduate soon, otherwise the introduction of Haze students Tsutsui and Tetsuo wouldn't make much sense.

My guess is that Hikaru will join the same school as them and Akira will probably follow him there.

Hikaru getting discovered and disqualified makes up for him using Sai. And I almost didn't register that that was Akira who spotted Hikaru.

As expected, there was no way Hikaru wouldn't get discovered and the whole team disqualified.
