i never liked near, this chap really made me like near in the anime more, he's too much sneaky in the manga.



the anime really repairs the flaws in this arc, i mean, it's interesting and all, but after seeing L's methods near's method really like trash and boring.

I have to agree.  These past couple chapters have been so drawn out.  I almost dropped the series, but I want to read them all before I watch the rest of the anime.  The bad translation I read didn't help either.
