Death Note Chapter 16 Discussion

maybe you can try the anime ? or the live action ? the two of them are great, haven't read the manga actually, but Death Note is one of the best serie out there, my first anime and one of my favorites, you're gonna love it as it goes by

                        This manga really maintains the suspense.  Kira continues to outsmart his pursuers.  I really like how he booby trapped his room and was able to figure out the surveillance.  Having real Bakuman (written by the same Manga team), I can appreciate the creative process employed to move the story along.



I also really like Ryuuku.  His sense of humor and childlike wonder really contrasts with his persona as a shinigami.  The fact that Raito is bribing Ryuuku with apples made me laugh aloud.



I am really surprised that more people have not commented on this series.

Saw the anime first. The manga is great so far!

i love the little christmas 4koma at the end, and the quote from takeshi obata where he says he draws the manga with fear and trembling

So turns out Ryuk is no better than a crackhead lol

Same! this is such a great manga! easily just as good as the anime and the films :)
