D.Gray-man Chapter 211 Discussion

Hoshino's on fire!



First she brought back the Victorian era setting. The bondage clothes in the Alma Arc were fanservicey, but they were completely out of place. And the Victorian era background characters are back - they were completely absent in the Alma and Apocryphos Arcs, and before the Timothy arc they were absent in the China, Edo, Ark, and Invasion Arcs.



Then she brought back Level 2 and 3 akuma in the previous chapter. I hated how there were a dozen Level 4s in the Alma Arc - weren't they supposed to be rare?



And last chapter brought back Allen's clown motif, this chapter brought back the GOTHIC MOON (the gothic setting is one of the things that made DGM what it is), the Noahs are now wearing proper clothes again, and Tyki looks the way he did ten volumes ago. Absolutely amazing.

So Allen is finally going to awaken as the 14th. I wonder if he'll end up siding with the Noah...

With the new chapter coming out soon, I got to give my two cents for this chapter.



The bickering between Kanda and Allen is alive!! Loved how Kanda wiped Allen's face like crazy (and took off his fake eyelashes XD). I feel a plot starting to stir, and there maybe more questions then answers. And the bloody blazes is Lavi?
