Come on, is Kanda dead or alive? The ark is breaking down, Kanda still has cracks all over his skin, and I just want to know what happens lol. When someone is supposed to be dead, especially in a shounen, I want a body and all to confirm it XD. Hell, even with a body sometimes shounen series magically make the characters live, but whatever lol. I am happy that it seems like Kanda just took Alma away to let him/her die in peace, but I really hope Hoshino doesn't leave what happens with Kanda up in the air for too long.
Also, that woman and Alma holding hands... so it was kinda like they are two separate people? Maybe Kanda's drive to find that woman was more the drive of his past self. Having a strong feeling towards someone you no longer know still embedded in you would drive anyone a bit crazy. So maybe this really is just the story of Kanda's past self finding his past love. And the bond Kanda and Alma made as separate people is one of childhood friendship. Because I do think who Kanda is now is different from who he was before. Sure, they have the same brain, but they lived completely different lives, thus developed into completely different people. But I honestly give up understanding this whole thing. Kanda's backstory has failed me lol.
