D.Gray-man Chapter 158 Discussion

Great chapter.  It was awesome seeing more of Road and Tyki, and the new noah is pretty damn interesting.  



The Earl's other form was a little confusing, but it really just adds intrigue to the whole affair.



And I agree: Lavi and the Bookman are probably going to get a lot more prominent pretty soon...  Yay! :3

Yay Road and Tyki are back! New Noah reminded me of Komui a little bit. "Papa antenna" was just lol. The Earl has a human form?! And it's not fat?! :O Nice though seeing things from the Noah's POV a bit.

Seems like this new arc will be centered around Lavi and Bookman (at least I hope so) and on the other end this war that the Noah started. For, I assume, a bigger reason than just to create more akuma.



Favorite part(s) must be though, like Crystal mentioned^^, all the small plot hints toward the true meaning of akuma's evolution, the heart-bearer, the 14th etc.

other than that, a pretty decent chapter. had to get some things out of the way i guess, and to set the stage for more war.

ok...Did I forgot something?...Why did Earl change his looks?



So this chapter gave us a lot of interesting bits...Crystal type innocene, war, more stuff about 14th, ...and Tyki's comment at the end made me wonder...

I think it was that the Earl has a white form (human form),as well as the form that we normally see, just like the other noahs, because after all they did say at the beginning that road and the earl were the first born noahs...



I like the new noah he's cool, and i also like how they made it so that road was his adoptive daughter, I'm so glad Road and Tyki came back! <3



Also someone asked about the 14th, that was the noah that is somehow connected to Allen, the noah that tried to kill the earl and betrayed him by stranding the arc in Tokyo and making it so that only he could move it again. Therefore because Allen is somehow related to him, he was able to move it too, and thats how it got to the base. Though I really want to know what relation the 14th noah is to Allen, the noahs called him a 'tool' so i'm not sure if he's a decendant, reincarnation, slightly possessed by the 14th or something completely different...

Also i really want to know if mana was related to him too...and cross, the time that Alen died at the hands of Tyki, they were looking for descendants of 'him' but they didn't say who he was, so that makes me think  Allen really is the descendant of the 14th, because Cross was a descendant of the man they were looking for too, and he seemed to know a lot about the 14th noah...but thats just my theories XD

Very interesting chapter, quite different from what we've seen lately. I like the developments, and that Road and Tyki are still alive and acting normal. Also, the Earl's new appearance was a surprise. Maybe he's also a Noah, in some way?

yea hi was wondering who that duke was ..until i read the commenst and realzied it was the earl @_@



and yeah road is so cute now <3 she wins over short-hair lenalee as of now for me XD i do hope we get a "Fast forward" soon so i can see lenalee's long hair again <3

Very mysterious...I don't quite get everything but I don't think I'm supposed to.  It was nice to have a little change of atmosphere and thicken the plot.  I wish they would explain what really happened to Tyki when Allen 'exorcised' him or whatever... that was wierd...
