D.Gray-man Chapter 152 Discussion

Well, it's not "just a single Level 4", it's the first Level 4 Akuma seen in history. It even deafeated(?) the 4 Generals at once. And then I think the hit he received from the Level 4 was a bit of surprise so he wasn't prepared at all and now he is terribly woundend and not even moving out of his own will.

Allen just made a random reappearance.

i thought this is a good chapter. it is nice to see allen back again and get to know more about the way crowned clown works, as a 'body armour innocence'. but that sort of reminded me of evangelion? eva moving when shinji is unconscious....



as for lenalee, the plot is finally moving along and i am especially touched by the deep relationship that she shares with komui. looking forward to see lenalee's innocence, hopefully in a new form, in the next chapter.

I was gonna go LOL first since in this chapter Lenalee still hasn't done anything. But I thought it provided good development for her feelings. I was a bit disgruntled before that she was led to her decision thanks to a certain bastard pushing her along but this chapter provided us with a more clear understanding that she truly wants to protect everyone and return back alive and well. That and the fact that Allen's innocence caused him to move about and attack even if his body itself can no longer move (and he's probably unconscious), well that doesn't look good for Allen. Even if D.Gray-man results in the Exorcists somehow managing to win their 'war', I'm starting to clearly see now that Allen isn't gonna live too long after it...

Don't drink that Innocence!

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of forward movement, and I mean, the Komui/Lenalee backstory is already known and didn't really need to be rehashed, in my opinion.  I don't know, I just didn't feel like this chapter even brought anything new to their relationship.  There are so many more things I want to know about, like whether ALL of the Generals and the entire science department have even the slightest chance of being alive... I hope they get the level 4 out of the way fairly quickly so we can also get back to what the heck is happening with Tyki's berserko new form...



Maybe my expectations were too high.

LOL at Kanda.  "You sister complex."  LOL.



Two things:

1.) So Allen's innocence is taking over his body.  I wonder how this is going to change things in the future.

2.)  I didn't know you can eat/drink the innocence.  Looking forward to kick-ass Lenalee (I hope).

it was ok.all i want to see is the new form of lenalee's innocence and for last 4 chapters its not happening.allan's fully masked form was cool.the thing is that Allan is supposed to kiill the Earl and he is not getting any stronger unless Noah's power invokes in him.if he cant manage a single Lev 4  how is he gonna achieve a victory against the earl?

True...not sure how "functioning" Allen himself is, but his innocence seems to be fully alive(man, that stuff was creepy X_x)

I was actually surprised when Allen came out of nowhere...but it made sense afterwards obviosuly. I liked the chapter despite not moving forward much. I also lol'd at Kanda. I will admit that I am having a hard time seeing Lenalee kick the level 4's ass all by herself. Guess it's good Allen's there...and Kanda. Actually it'd just be cool to see them all fighting together even if Allen's not actually...all there.

That said, I liked this chapter. It was nice to see a little more of that deep relationship Lenalee and Komui share, and Kanda's "You sister complex!" was pretty funny as well.

Imo that chapter sucked. Nothing really happened yet again only Allen finally showing up(unconcious as well) and Lenalee finally getting her innocence back. I had expected more really.
