I mean, it is entertaining, but none of these characters appear in FMAB so I really don't get why I should care for the filler chapters as well.

Wow, didn't think that the Rush Valley arc was that long in the manga since both anime adaptations dealt with it in one episode. Seems unneccessarily extended since there's not much in it to push the main story forward.

I'm actually enjoying the pacing of this "filler" arc so far, more so than a lot of the chapters in the first two volumes.
