So this is finally the real Hisoka here (it feels so nostalgic with Hisoka mentioning why he didn't get involved with the Chimera Ants, and it makes sense with the way his mindset is) The people who said that the Hisoka we saw before was a fake were right, RIP to Lynch then T.T (I was surprised to see Bonolenov transform into Owl from the Shadow Beasts, another nostalgic feeling)

And I'm always happy to see my favorite HxH character Chrollo even just for a short appearance!

Morena and her gang are getting more and more of a threat, crazy how many people they've collectively killed to power up, things are really about to blow up soon!

So we finally see real Hisoka, and that the one we saw a few chapters ago was Benenolov.



Also they think that this Heil-Ly isn't the real one??? what???? Just another fucking wrench to throw in the machine. It seems like this Cha-R guy knows Morena personally though, interestingly?? Now the Troupe is on their way to destroy Heil-Ly, things are going down, and their side is levelled up enough to take them on.



Things are heating up, they continue to. Love!

Well, my wish came true. Got to see Hisoka and more Phantom Troupe stuff. So that wasn't actually the real Hisoka we saw back then. It was Bonolenov disguised as Hisoka. Though, the real Hisoka did appear in this chapter, playing card games at a casino. We got to see Chrollo too. And I guess we also saw Bonolenov transform himself into that Shadow Beast (Owl) from Yorknew City arc. That cliffhanger at the end though.



So the Cha-R and Xi-Yu Families will support the Phantom Troupe fully, and the Phantom Troupe will crush the Heil-Ly Family for them.



1 more chapter, and the Succession Contest arc will become the second-longest arc in Hunter x Hunter. Also, this arc now has 34 episodes worth of content (so far) that could get adapted in a potential sequel to HxH (2011). I hope that whenever this arc ends, an anime adaptation of the Succession Contest arc is announced. And yeah, this is the longest Togashi ever took to finish an arc. Been over 10 years since this arc started, while Chimera Ant arc took Togashi 8 years and 3 months to finish, though that arc has way more chapters currently than Succession Contest.
