Hunter x Hunter Chapter 349 Discussion

This is getting quite complex, so meany new characters.

I really can't wait for the DC.

I'm guessing that there will be ~5 more chapters until they embark and after that probably a few chapters on the ship.

I'm confused about this

That new continent is clearly not the DC, am I forgetting something? Might just be because I'm sleepy, but I would appreciate it, if somebody would give an explanation.

35 days huh? i guess so much will be going on this "preparation arc" before we see them setting sail to the dark continent.

I like the idea of the princess having to wait for the ceremony before they start going at each other throats, a little interaction between them can make their "survivor game" a lot more interesting.

Jump is gonna take a break, so no new chapter next week.

The Kakin King has 14 legitimate children? Just by knowing a little bit about Tserriednich and Benjamin you can tell there will be a bloodbath in order to get in the throne.

Is that Pairo´s head?

I think so too. hair style and head shape are exactly the same.. and if it's true, wait for killua's reaction.. So excited about this arc

^ The election arc, This chapter and the other chapter before has been boring.... I understand what is going on but I'm just not interested in politics. Same for attack on titan, no titans just politics and a lot of talking, I'm not interested in it it's boring.

I love HxH precisely because of its heady, psychological nature. On top of myself enjoying this arc immensely, the political machinations and subterfuge between factions are necessary in shaping the crazy narrative landscape that this is going to turn into - I love, LOVE the fact that Togashi is avoiding the usual trappings of dumb battle-shonens by avoiding fodder combat-bloat and is putting the story and characters at the forefront - there's an actual narrative here that does a remarkably good job at avoiding the typical cookie-cutter ones that other peers in his genre adhere to so very often.
