The deaths in Hunter x hunter are always graphic and ruthless even against good guys lol. Really good chapter. Can't wait for the next one! R.I.P GOTOH :(!!

Wouldn't really consider Gotoh a good guy. Heck, I wouldn't even consider anyone of the Zoldyck family/household a good guy.

As for the chapter it was, like all the chapters from this arc, damn good!

Wow, lol, some intense action now after that lull after the Chimera arc. x)

I have to admit this chapter left me with conflicted feelings. It was awesome seeing Hisoka fight again, because he just kicks too much ass, but he's fighting against like... people I don't want him to fight against ;___; At the same time, it was pretty inevitable that Gotoh would die because it was Hisoka, and he was just the butler. If Hisoka couldn't kill their butler, what chance would he against the actual family xD

Everyone's motivations right now are kind of odd, though, because they kind of work together? I mean, Killa wants to save Gon, Hisoka wants to save himself and Gon, and Illumi wants to save himself and Killua. The main conflict is that Illumi doesn't seem to care about Gon, so if whatever Killua wants to do is going to threaten his own safety, Illumi will kill Alluka, thereby killing Gon. But Hisoka and Killua obviously want Gon to live so they'll probably do their best to stop him from doing that. But all in all, we STILL don't really know what exactly Killua's plan is, so I'm excited to see how this all plays out. xD

I think this'll all lead down to a deathmatch between Killua and Illumi.

Either way, to protect Alluka and/or Gon or because Illumi killed Alluka.

It would match the story, too, imo. The series can't be decades away from finish, so that would be a huge step for Killua and therefore to the end of the manga.

Fear, I think it's fair for Killua to leave after this arc.  He's had way more appearances than Leorio and Kurapika already anyway.

I would understand that if he had any incentive to reappear like Leorio and Kurapika had. But if he just up and left right after healing Gon then what was the point of going through all that? I should stop believing these peoples rumors because every week Togashi does something that makes everyone change their opinions on what will happen. That jackass better not go on hiatus soon or I'm gonna be so mad

what if goto was the spy for illumi , and hisoka killed him for that reason? :O

That's actually very possible. I still think it's either Amane or Tsubone. I'm pretty sure it's not Tsubone because she said she doesn't like Illumi or Milluki, but it is suspicious that she knew about Killua's abilities before hand. I think it is Amane because of that little exchange she had with Killua trying to convince him that she wasn't his enemy and how distant she got when Illumi was mentioned in the limo but you can honestly never tell with Hunter x Hunter.

I can tell you, I would be quite dissapointed if it was amane, she was way too suspicious from the very moment she was shown in the manga. i'm sure that togashi wants to mindfuck us.

on the other hand goto has quite his own motives. can't saythat he's a bad guy, cause i'm sure he wants to protect killua more then anybody else and the best way to do that is to help illumi and get rid of alluka. on the other hand hisoka wants gon to be saved and maybe afterwards kill alluka but theres no motive for him to kill gotoh and let the other 2 butlers flee the scene.

Someone suggested that the latest chapters are suggesting that after Killua heals Gon (if he succeeds in that) then he will leave Gon. The main reason is because he tells Alluka that he will protect her always and he isn't going to drag her along while he is following Gon. Also, if he did leave Gon to protect Alluka then he will successfully fulfill Bisuke's prophecy that he would eventually leave Gon. I personally don't agree with this because it would completely remove Killua from the story without any cause to return to it (Leorio swore he would come back after medical school and Kurapika still has the Phantom Troupe to deal with). I just wanted to see what others opinions were on that matter.

As far as what I thought, damn Hisoka's still got it. He always makes everything look so easy. Dissapointing to see Gotoh go but it was inevitable when challanging Hisoka.
