Way to be a bro, Killua. You deserve a beer named after you.

Yes he does! I'd drink it even if it was nasty :)Crimsonwill said:

Mad Chapter! Gon isn't just being depressed, he has cracked O_O! Pitou is in for a tough fight, but Killua is also on the way to help it seems =O

Gon looks insane! Was that his aura? Hope he  takes  Pitou out. I'm sure when Killua shows up it'll be about over, but I hope they take Pitou out.

I can't wait for next week!!!!!! XD

oh snap oh snap......gon going berserk. i would hate for him to lose his sense of self but it probably is necessary to fight as hard as he needs to. this is getting real exciting.

I know it was dragged out in the anime, but I think I prefer that version of the events of this chapter. There you could really feel how broken Gon became, along with the excellent use of his blaming Pitou vs. blaming himself. Still, I like the double page stream of consciousness, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

Shit is about to go down, though. No doubt about that. It will interesting indeed to see what peoples opinion of what is about to happen was when it originally happened.

It's been a looong time since I read a HxH chapter that left me craving for more. Mad Gon is mad.

And this is the first time I cried during this re-read..

That double page with Gon's thoughts all over just breaks my heart. The layout and constant back-and-forth thoughts create this excellent chaotic feel. And then Gon not realising what Pitou is doing when he starts to heal himself.. And then Gon loses it. "Let it end. I don't care what happens to me now." I don't even know what to say, but I just feel so incredibly sad for this character.

What Gon has gone through this arc isn't really something that is unusual. Lots of shounen-leads (typically boys around the same age as Gon) have similiar experiences. But I've never read anything else that has had a character react in such a real and depressing way as Gon does.

"Next issue: The final battle! Gon vs. Pitou"

glad this arc is finally ending. I wonder what will happen with Meryem
