Yes, it's great how both Netero and The King are portrayed here. The King still insists on just talking even after getting a blow from Netero. Netero seems to be motivated both by his mission but also for the selfish reason of feeling disrespected. I guess he is used to get his way. It's not really clear who we are supposed to cheer for.



I also love how Netero realises that The King seems to be in conflict with his human and ant natures, and comes to the conclusion that he might be interested in his own name. And of course, The King wanting to know his own name was one of the first things that really started to change him.



This really is such an amazing fight overall. And it hasn't even started properly.

As expected, the King wasn't even dented by Netero's attack (and his Nen was incredibly impressive). He's in deep shit right now if a powerful preemptive strike like that didn't even work, Yupi and Pufu are coming to the King's aid.



HxH will probably resume in April. at least, that's what the routine of Togashi tells me when he resume fall of 07. Hopefully, when that time comes around, Gon's turn to fight will be up. D:

The plot gets kind of crappy because of the "if you fight me i tell you your name!!1". Why cant the old geezer just die to make the world better place?

I love how the subject of the King's name came back up. "Identity" has been a very important thing for his character, and a proper name is always a clear indicator of that. Also, Netero is doing this to push his opponent into battle. The facial expressions he makes are, interestingly enough, something you would expect from a villain not one of the supposed "heroes" of the story.

Could have seen this entire chapter coming from a mile away--hiatus included.



While I loved how the action finally seems to be picking up, the hiatus just kills the excitement.  I would say that I'm going to just stop reading the chapters as they're released--but I know that I won't be able to stay away.



Hopefully the series won't be on hiatus until April again, but if the other option is longer, I'm perfectly happy to have April as the restart date.  I'm sick of these hiatuses, but somehow when we do get chapters, they're still worth it, still keep me coming back for more.
