Kozure Ookami Chapter 89 Discussion

                        The fire watchers continue to chase after Itto and they end up cornering him out at sea, but he keeps killing anyone who sets foot on his boat. The fire watchers boss challenges Itto to a duel and even uses his ladder during the fight. Seems like a pain in the ass to carry around, but his skills with it have made it useful. He was able to catch Itto off guard and managed to land a blow on Itto's right shoulder and clavicle area. Itto jumps into the water to avoid another slash and uses the water as part of his sword technique to land a fatal blow. I'm surprised Itto actually got hurt during this fight.

Damn, never would have expected that you could make a believable sword fighting technique with a ladder, *and* wound Itto with that! Going into the water was a fatal mistake though, it's Itto's territory

Such an action-packed chapter! The duel was intense and that guy even managed to hurt Ittou, but he still lost.
