Hunter x Hunter Chapter 238 Discussion

                        The introduction of Ikalgo, Octopus who desperately wants to become a squid. Killua letting him live and even saving him is a pretty big turning point and an example of the effect Gon has had on him. It's also the start of an interesting parallel throughout this arc, one that I can't elaborate on I'm afraid.

Ah, Ikalgo, another one of my favourite side characters. An octopus wanting to be a squid is both funny and works as some great deep characterisation. Killua certainly is right thinking that Ikalgo is cool.



And yeah, we also get to see some change from Killua. First how he doesn't run away from Ikalgos inital sniper firing, and then how he jumps straight into the trap. And of course deciding to save Ikalgo. Such a great moment from both these characters.
