Hunter x Hunter Chapter 170 Discussion

                        So, it seems Gon and crew are preparing for a final battle with Genthru. The most interesting part of this chapter was the Ryodan and Hisoka. They have found the nen exorcist from early in the arc and are trying to get to him. The part with Machi and Hisoka regarding Chrollo was notable, a pretty interesting dynamic between the two that I would like to see more. It's true that the Spiders would pursue the shit out of him if he ever killed their "Danchou". Also Kalluto Zoldyck, Killua's younger brother who we saw previously in the Zoldyck and Yorknew arcs, has joined the Troupe as well. Why? Don't know.

Yeah, the highlight of the chapter was definitely Hisoka & the Phantom Troupe. I particularly love the dialogue between Machi & Hisoka.



Hisoka: "If I end up killing Chrollo...?"

Machi: "Not likely but I'll give you an answer. I'll chase you to the ends of the Earth and kill you."

Hisoka: "Sounds nice."



& it's only with someone like Hisoka that the last line wouldn't contain a drip of sarcasm but instead be entirely genuine.



Unrelated, Viz thinks both this & the next chapter are chapters 170. Anyway, Specified slot cards . . .

#83, Sword of Truth (B-22): Splits in two anything and anyone deceitful. In trials, it's a criminals worst nightmare. The sword will shatter when used to cut something true, but will regenerate if stored in its scabbard for one day.



#90, Memory Helmet (A-20): You will never forget things you see or hear while wearing this helmet. Unfortunately, it's extremely large and heavy.
