Ouran High School Host Club Chapter 61 Discussion

waah~ we're finally getting some plot development! I'm glad Hikaru got ahold of himself and confessed. I hope he's not rejected, because at this point he's my only hope for a non-Tamaki ending. ^^;



Next chapter should be a good one!

ack! don't mind me for being extremely late on this (especially with the fact that i've JUST finished following the series and ache for more -and also, didn't know that ouran and VK came out on the same magazine... *fails*-) and i didn't see that tamaki was heading up the mountain! DX now i really can't wait to read 62. i'm glad i'll be on the list for waiting for new ouran chapters to come out ^_^ and so! i was so proud of hika! i do wonder how haru will reply to him o-o;

OMG... Mori wa sugoiiiiiii!!!  hehe, I love him.  But I can't believe Hika actually confessed!  It seems a little sneaky, asking when Tamaki isn't around, but I'm sure we'll have some sort of confrontation in the next chapter, seeing as he's on his way.  I'm a little confused, though... Did Kyouya tell him about Hikaru??  What is that mysterious boy up to? `O-O` I think he wants to help Tamaki in the only way does; that is, without direct advice, just putting Tamaki into the situation and making him confront his feelings on his own.  Kyouya is so cool and aloof, I really wonder how this is going to turn out for him.  It's interesting now that we have the Tamaki/Hikaru/Kaoru/Haruhi action, and then Kyouya/Mori/Honey are the commentary.

I reread the chapter twenty million times, and each time I read it I fall more in love with Hikaru. I found a lot of symbolism in the chapter on his part...



when he rescues the class rep, thats what always gets to me. Imagine the class rep being Tamaki, and the rescuers being haruhi, and hikaru being (no duh) hikaru. Tamaki cant move and get "rescued" by haruhi because it hurts him too much, but Hikaru can easily save himself and go to Haruhi. If Hikaru were to try and save Tamaki by making him "accessible" to Haruhi, it would hurt, not only the blondie, but our beloved twin as well. Hurt and hurt and hurt.



but, despite all this, Hikaru resolves to survive and tough out the pain, because he owes a lot to Tamaki. at the same time, he doesnt want to give up on himelf: so he confesses, to make Tamaki aware of his own feelings while, at the same time, not giving up on his own.



I love Hikaru and this chapter :)

but I hated the fact that this chapter ended with a cliffie... AND that there was an extra right after it o.o

I had to wait two months for the conclusion!
