To take whatever they want like that and try to rape that poor mom and daughter, but then act like little bitches when they get caught with their pants down and are beaten with a stick. Serves them right. Unfortunately the man and the ladies were killed for knowing who the watari kachi's employer was. Itto shows up right after this event occurs and is challenged to a duel. He accepts and naturally he's able to cut the man down. Before the man dies, he asks Itto if his decision to leave his master's side to go on the offensive during an ambush was the right choice since it's what helped win the battle. He wants to know if he was following the correct way of the Bushido. Itto gives his answer, saying that the way of Bushido is to always be prepared to die for your master, but he wouldn't just accept losing the battle and not trying to win. It's definitely a complicated situation.
