Kozure Ookami Chapter 16 Discussion

Very well written chapter. Sakon was a great character and I liked his impact on Itto. I loved the scene of them staring at each other and seeing possible outcomes depending on their actions. Itto wins in the end, but he was affected by this encounter and he even felt something for having killed Sakon.

                        Another awesome chapter, I really liked Sakon.

Even though I knew the outcome this was intense.

What a masterful chapter. From the very moment Sakon is introduced you feel he'll be a great foil. A memorable and fascinating character developd very well in mere 50 pages. The whole dream like sequence where Sakon (and possibly Ittou) imagines possible outcomes is peak visual storytelling, followed by a juicy anti-idealistic conclusion and a short yet impactful speech by the protagonist. By then you genuinely comprehend the importance of Sakon in his life. I don't think this chapter could be better.
