Chapter 500 and it seems we're resorting back to Goku & Vegeta. If there's anything I'm glad for, it's that Gohan at least managed to survive the blast and didn't just get stomped by Buu. Buu absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo make sense, it was clear that Buu paid attention to the time limit and was cooking something up, and him having the ability to do so makes sense consider how effortlessly he can make people chocolate but I'll admit, it's not exactly engaging seeing all these massive power-ups so quickly one after another. Gohan had one chapter of dominating Buu before the roles were pretty much reversed. It makes sense in the plot and dramatically, but doesn't really make for an engaging read.
