I'm glad that Toriyama is getting back to comedy a lot here in the Buu saga, and these Gotenks chapters have been really entertaining, but it kinda strikes me as a mismatch when the backdrop is all of humanity having just been killed xP Like it's kinda hard to feel any tension or take the threat of Buu seriously when it's clear that even the author isn't taking it seriously, ya know? And poor Piccolo, reduced to a babysitter/commentator...
