the way toriyama presented it, the revealing to bulma that the future boy is trunks his son is equal the revelation that darth vader is luce's father in star wars lol.
loved the "race" between father and son at the end too.

Toriyama is famous for seemingly coming up with the story as he goes along. Whilst he usually plays it off pretty good, the start of this arc is an instance where it's really noticeable. Trunks warned of C19 and C20, but now he has suddenly changed their names as if he always warned of C17 and C18.
Lol Bumla calling the baby ugly was funny..........Vegeta and Trunks are both pretty strong they should atleast scout to see how strong the androids are..........
You know, Bulma doesn't do much here, but she's kinda already proven more plot relevant here than she did in the Namek saga, where she was just kind of relegated to transportation. I'm enjoying the budding conflict between Trunks and Vegeta, and I like the build up of Android 17 & 18. What's one way to top absorbing energy, infinite energy!
