In a way, I should be upset that Blue ultimately died this quickly to Tao despite all the time dedicated to him, but thinking about it, this feels about right. After two comedy defeats, it probably wouldn't have felt right to have Goku & Blue square off properly for once, and showing Tao kill someone with his tongue kinda instantly makes him the biggest dramatic threat so far. Throwing the pole as a means of travel is just bad-ass too.
