My theory was a bit more cruel. I thought Kintoki would be repaired but not Tama, because she's technically not a work of Gengai (maybe there was a part he can't fix without Ryuzen), then Kintoki would have to live the rest of his robot life bearing the guilt of his comrade's death.

I noticed that too. I'm curious what the setup for that is going to be, there's definitely a reason why they weren't shown.

I was so happy and excited with their comeback. Hoping for a development on the whole Inugami clan

I can't, I just can't. I'm getting way too emotional with each chapter because it means it's one chapter closer to ending.

The mechanism of rebuilding aside (which I don't have anything against), I think you're being a bit too optimistic thinking that things can go back to normal when half of Edo is already destroyed XD
