Great chapter and great volume altogether =D



Going a little off topic~ That one-shot, Shirokuro at the end was brilliant! It had the potential to be such a great series. Sorachi said he was gonna go ahead with it but his editor started talking about the Shinsengumi which led him to the creation of Gin tama.. Its a shame in a way, it really did have potential. Maybe he'll revisit this project some time in the future =)



Yama was a pretty awesome character... He was pretty much Gintoki with a few minor character changes.. I also lol'd when I found out Tomiko's 2nd name was Sakata xD

And he had a weird dream while he was knocked unconcious. I wonder what that was all about. His past?

The "failed" one-shot was good and promising.

The Gintama chapter, on the other hand... "protect his dear friends"... is it taking the regular Shônen Jump action road? At least, the off-topic attitude of the hero during the fight helped to lighten the mood. And the all modern junkie youngsters mixed with the old illegal opium import showed how the anachronistic setting can be used.
