Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 282 Discussion

This arc was very amusing. It drew me in and I was reading non stop.



They did say at the begining of the arc that they must be prepared for a great evil. I wonder if it was really about the future arc or about a battle they would face once they returned to there own time



I know that sounds dumb but hey I just thought I throw that out there. It would be funny if I was right.

future arc is easily the worst arc ever in reborn manga so far, I'm so glad that it's over and back to the past :)

Wow, the arc is actually over. I'm impressed.



I actually really liked this arc a lot. It's not my favorite but I liked everything even the boxes up until Tsuna vs. Byakuran.  That was too short.  Still, for the development that went down inbetween, it was okay.  By the way, who is the guy on the left next to Xanxus and Mukuro in this page? That's not Byakuran is it?

I'm actually more surprised that Uni and Gamma are actually dead.  I figured they'd have brought them back somehow.

This. I hope they sort of act somewhat more important and stop thinking about cooking. A confession would be too much to ask would it? Well, it would be the only thing interesting that could happen since they just vanquished the ruler of all the multiverses, and still retained their powers as they went back in time 10 years. Guess they could always make Tsuna badass and take over the world himself.... >.>

The Future arc is finally over. It was a great arc but it was too long. I had also hoped that the Tsuna vs. Byakuran fight would be longer and more epic. Oh well.

Aww, Gokudera's talk with Bianchi...His wtf face when Mosca crashed was priceless xD



The last pages were very cool, with only Tsuna's legs showing; I don't mind  not seeing his face at all.



And also, I find it funny how people bash Bleach for having long battles and KHR for having short ones xD



...this feels awkward, I can't tell at all what's gonna happen next.

"I want everyone to leave their vongola boxes here" - hell yes! though I'll miss uri... farewell stupid box weapons and pokemons!

so the arc is finally over eh? I guess it's time for the final thoughts and overall impressions:



- it lasted way too long for my tastes

- do I have to make any more comments on the box weapons? -.-''

- I feel like there was too much Yamamoto and Hibari, I love them they are awesome and all, but they took too much screen time that could have been given to other equally-great-but-extremely-underrated characters :(

- Gokudera was useless, not to mention once again unable to attain a clear victory in a fight, he always either loses pretty badly, gets a draw or he gets interrupted halfway... sigh

+ the Varia are simply made of pure win

- didn't find the real six funeral wreaths threatening enough considering how much they praised their strenght :/

+ some great new characters were introduced, hope we'll somehow see them again

+ we got to see their tyl selves! Yay!

- how can we have like what? 150? chapters ten years in the future and no adult lambo at all?? >:(

+ here and there there was some nice relationship and character developement

- I didn't like how it was handled....

+ ...but at least now Haru and Kyoko know what is going on and can start doing something other than cooking

+ something was explained while new questions arose, along with new clues and elements that if well handled can become great plot material

- towards the end it was utterly confusing! time travels, parallel worlds, travel in parallel worlds, trinisette, sacrifices that magically restore peace in each and every single world both past and future... and so on... I still don't get half of what actually happened! and at times it was like the author herself didn't know which direction the plot should have taken, very disappointing

- I suppose Byakuran's defeat wouldn't have sounded so fast and lame if he hadn't been stating nonsense about "not using his full power yet" all the time right till the very moment the x-burner hit him. ignoring the usual speech about the power of true friendship trust and love, it could have actually been a cool final battle, had the villain kept his mouth shut



oh well cannot wait to see what comes next ^_^

Didn't understand the lsat page. Why did TYL Tsuna go to the coffin and what does the letter he put down mean

The only thing I disliked about the future was how freaking short Byakuran vs Tsuna was XD The whole arc was basically preparing Tsuna against Byakuran and it turns out to be only a couple of chapters of fighting. Yeah, Byakuran def. had a final boss feel to him.



and whyy did they NOT show Tsuna D: I bet he looked exactly like the first boss lol.

I hope Reborn! will either return to its roots as a gag manga or show us something darker like the Kokuyou or Varia arcs in the chapters to come. Selling merchandise is great for making some extra cash but readers will turn away if it takes over the plot. In before children's card game.
