Slam Dunk Chapter 195 Discussion

Leave the weak to follow the path of the strong to realize that in itself is a large step forward.

Using the video tape to actually learn from past mistakes should be one of the most obvious methods for improvement but I feel like that kind of thing is often overlooked in sports shonen anime/manga

I'm always happy to see the little details in the characters e.g. when Sakuragi blamed Hakami's camera skills for his failure and Hakimi had that little teardrop coming out of his eye as if he was genuinely offended by that accusation.

Or when Sakuragi insisted that it wasn't him playing on that tape and the gang all pointed their fingers on him, shouting in unison "It was"

Concentrating on Sakuragi's development again seems like the most balanced decision - During the last game & its aftermath the focus was shifted to the other players from both teams (especially Rukawa) and the way that Sakuragi was left behind/ out was limited to mostly comedic purposes and hints at future character development.

I think that that's another reason for why I'm enjoying this training arc so much so far, it just feels natural to focus on Sakuragi again. This way the return of the whole team might feel more exciting as well.

I hope it'll go on like this a little longer!

Teaching saku how to shoot was the best tactic, and things are pretty chill

I've noticed that these last few chapters, Inoue's art has improved quite a bit.
