Omg.. tears. The characters are so well written. Also, I loved that we see how big an impact injuries can have on a sportsman. As a fellow sportsman, who has been plagued by injuries, I found Mitsui story very moving and i loved that the mangaka brought attention to that aspect of sport. The “never give up” message hits hard! Mitsui acknowledges that he ran away from his troubles, but it is not too late to turn back from the path he was on. Very motivational! Can’t wait to see how he will work to get back to his best. Love this story.
