Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Chapter 149 Discussion

                        Fun little chapter. Anzu and Yami Yugi had a little date, courtesy of Yugi. Yugi getting all dressed up and surprising Yami Yugi by setting him up on a date was kind of funny. He's worried about his partner since Yami Yugi has been thinking a lot about himself and who he is, his past, and his future as well. He's somewhat conflicted about whether or not he should find out about himself because of what it might lead too. He's trying to be considerate to Yugi and his feelings, since they both want to stay with each other.

As usual, Anzu gets so smitten over Yami Yugi, which still kind of makes me feel a bit sad for regular Yugi. Nevertheless, he deeply cares about his partner and wants to cheer him up. It seemed like Yami Yugi had fun with Anzu. At first I didn't realize how provocative she was dressed until she removed her jacket to compete in the dance battle. I wasn't expecting that. But good on her for winning the dance battle.
