Kaiba's strategy was to use the virus to kill Pegasus's deck, but Pegasus used his mind scan and set a trap for Kaiba that ended up killing the virus.
Man Pegasus loves his cartoons I guess. But he's American, so I can't say I'm surprised since Saturday morning new cartoon episodes was a major part of my childhood and many others here. But I digress. Pegasus plays an overpowered strategy, the one and only Toon World card he has created for himself. It turns his monsters into toons and also lets them hide in the toon world castle, which is in a book. By closing the book, Kaiba is unable to attack his monsters. That's just so unfair. He's already cheating with his Millennium eye and now he's using cartoons as a weapon essentially. To make matters worse, Pegasus turns Kaiba's blue eyes that he took from him into a toon as well. And I must say, the toon version of the blue eyes is really cool looking. It's Goofy and toony, but I like it.
Kaiba tosses the cards in his hand and chooses to just gamble on picking cards straight from his deck so that Pegasus isn't able to use his abilities against him. Luckily for Kaiba, he draws the blue eyes, but will it even help in the end? Crazy chapter tho. Great stuff.
