Well, turns out the MeiKyu brothers were massive trolls cause there was no incorrect door, both lead to the same direction; fucking wow! But that is only the intro.
The chapter opens up and we have freaking Kaiba doing this to Pegasas's subordinates!
If there ever was one panel to showcase how different the Yu-Gi-Oh manga is compared to its anime interpretations, this is it!
Anyway, Kaiba does not kid around when it comes to his little brother and would do anything to save him (ironic cause of how he used to treat him in the Death T arc). Pegasas eventually contacts Kaiba, and tells him that he needs to defeat Yugi first in order to get inside the castle, where Mokuba is.
One thing that always baffled me in the anime was how Kaiba just stood in front of the cell where his little brother was and Pegasas just decided to show up in front of Kaiba, where they just proceeded to talk to each other normally. I always thought why the hell wouldn't Seto just bet the crap out of the unarmored Pegasas and free Mokuba if he loved him so much. Well guess I have my answer, that never freaking happened!
Instead Pegasas was inside the castle, where you need 10 star chips to unlock its entrence, and just chatted with the bloodthirsty Kaiba from a monitor, where he showed his little brother in the dungeon cell. Makes so much better sense now!
I don't know, am I giving the manga too much credit for these basic things because the anime messed them up so much? Guess so, heck the changes don't even make sense half the time.
