                        Ryuzaki shot himself in the foot by mentioning the time wizard, but he had no choice if he wanted to make a deal with Joey, so that the winner can take a card from the losers deck. Ryuzaki even bet his Red Eyes Black Dragon, which is a great card for Joey to win. Joey remembers the time wizards ability at the last minute and uses it to age Ryuzaki's monsters to the point of death, thereby allowing Joey to overcome the odds once again and win the match. Now he's got 2 more star chips to add to the two he already had and a super rare card to add to his deck. Hopefully he doesn't sell it.

Not sure if this applies to online translations but in the Viz translation Jonouchi called Ryuzaki “Lizzo” as an abbreviation of “Lizard Man”.



Can confirm Ryuzaki was Lizzo before Lizzo lmao
