                        Joey takes Weevil's glove, so now he can officially be a tournament duelist even tho he wasn't exactly invited as one. I'm sure Pegasus wanted it to go down this way tho. For Joey to earn his way into even being able to duel.

The gang runs into Mai next and she challenges Joey seeing that he only has one star chip and is probably easy pickings. Joey accepts her challenge, but soon becomes confused when Mai tells him she knows all her cards and doesn't need to see them, which messes with Joey's head in the end and leaves him vulnerable to make mistakes.

Jonouchi vs Mai begins, also in the manga Jonouchi is not an idiot goof ball, and his  friends actually believe in him and act as friends by supporting him. IN the anime they made fun of him 24/7, wow. Also a bigger emphasize on the honor of the duelist and saving his sister's sight!
