Another Anzu centered chapter. What is up with those? I feel that this was just an excuse to have more fanservice of her, the game and conclusion was beyond rushed and Anzu's character suffered a lot as she came off as a bitch and borderline crazy in the way she reacted to the situation at hand.

I know this user is removed but this is just my two cents.
Anzu is a young teenage girl who doesn’t know how to just ask Yugi “can I meet the other Yugi?” because it may come off rude to him. Even though this is what she should’ve done, I also understand the fear of offending Yugi. Eventually that gets established later on in the manga but honestly this is kind of expected of Anzu and her behavior. Dumb teenager acts irrationally, especially when she’s head over heels over someone. She acted irrationally to trigger Yami out of Yugi because she just doesn’t know how to ask yet. She ignorantly went on the Ferris Wheel because most of the time teenagers are not gonna understand the consequences (regarding the bomber). This “new” Yugi is a new experience for her. I don’t really think her character development suffered too much. She had to learn her lesson in order to not put Yugi and herself at risk again for selfish reasons. There is about 32 more volumes of this to improve her character development anyway lol.
Regarding the “fan service”, I honestly didn’t see it that way. It just looked like any other time at an amusement park that happened to have water attractions. And of course in Anzu’s case, she absolutely wanted to feel sexy for Yami. It was pretty clear that she felt confident around Yugi (and was surprised she even saw Yami at one point in this scenario). Does a bathing suit have to be considered fan service >_> sheesh lol
