Can't agree more matey,  it seems  that there is a formula I know the story is forced and make now sense,  here are some boobies for you.

                        can anybody explains why   Masataka and friends didn't just barge in and helped their captain.  and why aya wasn't even there?  the given reason provised by bunshici is because   of a non aggressive agreement  between Mitsuomi and Souhaku.

but Jyuken is not party to the agreement , and why they listen to Bunshichi who is supposed to be an enemy?. I am surethe combined power of Masataka and  Maya can make a quick work of Tsuguiro  and  Maya wouldn't have to go into  coma.
