Look at the upper left panel.



I've had my suspicions before about those emblems and it looks like the eight outside of the one in the center are the 8 Original regalias. The two that branch out from the eight are faux-regalias, created as facsimiles. Perhaps his goal is to test those imitations, along with the data that Sora acquires from the Run and create an unstoppable monster of a composite A-T.
