Shugo Chara! Chapter 42 Discussion

                        The ending is getting near, or at least I think so. Not really much happened untill Ikuto sent Amu a message. But why ''I won't ever see you again?'' T_T IKUTO! Explain yourself next chapter, really! Really glad to see that he could get along a bit more with his parents. Perhaps he's moving? Damn. Really need a next chapter.

So there I was randomly reading this Amuto fanfiction when I remembered the next chapter was out. So I rushed over to Mangafox and read it. It was great, right from the part where she got the text message. xD I loved their date and everything. Except, I rated this 1/5 'cause of the horrible ending. x_x Ikuto, you can't leave! And the worst part! That fanfic I was reading before I went to read the chapter, was about Ikuto telling Amu he was leaving!!! Stupid foreshadowing. 'Cept the fic had a happy ending, which resulted in him NOT leaving. I personally believe she is going to admit she loves him and he'll stay or something. (Trying to keep my cheesy love happiness afloat.)

There's like so many things undone, it can't be near the end yet! Even though it's on volume 10 now... but we still have to find out about Nadehiko being Nadeshiko, Ikuto's father, Ikuto's sudden comment... pretty much everything.



And I hate timeskips. e_e

I don't think I've ever fangirl-ed over a chapter as much as I did in this one. O__O Everything is proceeding according to plan and then all of a sudden Ikuto drops the bomb. Seriously. Why couldn't he have at least kissed her before saying something so shocking? TT_TT

yeah i feel like Ikuto is doing something with his mother... and since she said 'no need' for the divorce papers, i think it means she already has something planned? like maybe something with Ikuto's father...?

but yeah the embryo will probably appear when Amu chooses her love.



and haha Rimahiko. speaking of which, when will the rest of them(mainly Amu) find out about Nadehiko?

Moving my fangirlish mood aside, although it's hard:

There are much unclear things to resolve, so I don't think that manga will end with volume 9 or maybe even 10. And it's a good thing at least for me - I have used to this  more or less lighthearted story, it'll be hard to break the habit of reading/watching it. And there is another Amuto related secret - what was that alternate reality they got into when Ikuto tried to unlock Amu's Humpty Lock [Season 1 of the anime, don't remember exact chapter of manga]. I get a feeling that I know where Embryo is truly hidden ;)... And that would make open ending of not choosing anyone almost impossible...

Cramped full of amuto, ladyes and gentlemen! Some lulz before the date like Rima calling Nagihiko a charanari noob while saying she's only friends with Na-de-shi-ko XD and Ikuto's way-to-hard-to-notice secret code for Amu. Then a lot of rabu-rabu moments until Ikuto drops the bomb at the final pages. If you ask me, I think he finally realized that soon it will be posible to prosecute him under the charge of child-corruption.



Now, seriously speaking, I wonder if Ikuto's decition has something to do with that misterious paper his mother gave to his husband, director Hoshina, that made him do that "WTF" face.

Loved the chapter...now all that's left is some badass Ikuto(solo) action! Something like -

IKUTO SAVES THE WORLD!!! Or he dies to protect Amu...that'd be badass.....Just anything other than Amu shooting hearts and changing people... :P
