Shugo Chara! Chapter 40 Discussion

That was insanely cheesy and cliché. Like so many little kid cartoons. >.>

I didn't really like that chapter. I was expecting A LOT better. ;-;

I have to say that I didn't expect that Hikaru would be the head of the Easter :'D And he acted really ... arg. Annoying little kid.



Next chapter on 3rd of June ... Really waiting !



But I think that this (10) is the final volume of Shugo Chara!. The story just seems like it. Hopefully PEACH-PIT end is well 8)

I was suprised that the little boy was Gozen... I thought it was going to be Aruto as Gozen had a bit of an interest to Ikuto-sama...

But then I realized he couldn't be him, as he's Ikuto's father and he wouldn't torture his son that much... so back to square one...

Now I know it's the little Taiyaki boy, I'm gonna kill him if he doesn't apologize for what he's doing to everyone... it's so cruel! THE STUPID ROCK COLLECTION DOESN'T MATTER! THE EMBRYO IS NOT A FLAMING ROCK!

I 4th the need for Amuto! (wait... is there supposed to be a 4th in discussions???)

Well, that theory was thrown around and I have to admit, I thought it was unlikely, but apparently it was true! Gozen was that little kid. Kinda anti-climactic. I was hoping it would have more of a relation to the previous generation of the guardians, but maybe that's still to come? Hmm...



but yeah this is gonna end in the next... I'd say 3-5 chapters.

and yes I second the need for more Amuto.

Its kind of a surprise that Gozen was Hikaru the little boy :P

So wait... Is the embryo useless now? I wonder....

Actually I didn't expect Easter's leader to be that kid... and he did all that stuff to get the Embryo just to complete his jewel collection? What a messed up spoiled little brat, rrrrr. He better have a good excuse background story.

I think it´s kinda pathetic that a spoiled little  boy who likes rocks is the head of Easter...

wah i never expected gozen to be a spoiled little brat! i thought of him as more like a old rotten gramps.....XD but im really wondering....why would he want the embryo for just some small stones and jewels?? kept me thinking back there.....loved the chapter 40 though.....

As expected Gozen was the taiyaki child. For those who saw the movie "The last Emperor" are probably not too shocked about a little boy being the boss, but anyways it's kind of weird. Since all the things happened just rushed in and then Tsukasa appears out of the blue (the guy's a goddamn phantom thief to be able to enter into the super protected Gozen's inner room just like that) the chapter seems like a little rushed, but I sincerely hope that chapter 41 will bring order to this typhoon of random infromation.



Edit: I actually liked that the Embryo was wanted for such a random reason XD Too many people are obsesed with the idea that "bad guy wanting a wish granted = world domination". Seems like most westers can't accept the idea of an anemy who is not interested in a big and ambicious plan.

This was just too expected. I kinda feel sorry that they didn't actually do anything with the story, no developments at all, and it's definitely gonna end soon. Too bad. Until not long ago, the story had much potential.

And I third the need for Amuto. :)

I just imagined him being the bearer of the Embryo ... [though... that is sort of may-be......]
